Coastal Discovery Museum. A butterfly enclosure, various hands-on programs for children to learn about Lowcountry animals, guided walks, and much more make this a great destination. Island Playground. Lawton Stables. Riding lessons and pony rides, in addition to horseback tours through the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, are offered at Lawton Stables. The Sandbox, An Interactive Children's Museum. A hands-on place for kids, the museum offers a Learner's Loft, where children can have tea parties or play with a puppet theater, puzzles, games, toys, Legos, and more.
