The main post office is downtown on Broad Street, while a major branch is at West Ashley. To ship packages, FedEx Kinkos has a downtown branch and another at West Ashley. The UPS Store has locations in Mount Pleasant and West Ashley.

Most area lodgings have in-room data ports or in-room broadband, and some have wireless connections in the rooms or public areas. Internet cafés are rare, but many coffee shops, including Starbucks, will let you use their wireless connection for a fee. The FedEx Kinko's branch on Orleans Road has computers you can use for 25¢ a minute.
