Charleston Restaurants

Langdon's Review

Langdon's only drawback: it's inside a nondescript strip mall across the Cooper River Bridge from Charleston. Otherwise, the restaurant and wine bar belonging to Mount Pleasant native son Patrick Owens triumphs, earning a teetering pile of awards. Owens merges local cuisine with Asian and worldly flavors, exacting a rich menu composed of Hawaiian tuna, lamb racks, black skillet beef tenderloins, local shrimp and grouper, and sides like succotash, smoked-tomato-and-Brie grits, and leek-and-corn risotto.
