Charleston's only gay dance club is a large, unadorned space with a stage where drag shows are performed on Friday and Sunday nights. Male go-go dancers shake their stuff on the bar and there's a DJ every night. The club offers a good dance space with lots of action. Although the crowd is primarily gay, straight folks and bachelorette parties come here, too, and are made welcome. Eighteen- to twenty-year-olds are allowed in but they are given a special bracelet and are not allowed to drink alcohol. The cover charge is $5.
