The longest continuously operating restaurant and bar in South Carolina, Henry's House has evolved since it opened in 1930. On the first floor is a large horseshoe bar with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the Market. The second floor, recently converted into a whiskey bar, has exposed brick, black-and-white photos of jazz musicians, and rugs scattered across hardwood floors. A few steps up is a deck and the enclosed NV Dance Lounge, which is open Thursday through
Saturday and attracts a young crowd.
