Fodor's Review

Thanks to its staff, this hotel has an outstanding track record for guest satisfaction. And then there's the great location—across from Marion Square and a block from Gaillard Auditorium. It does have a chain-motel feel, but rooms glean character from decor like wooden armoires, headboards, and side tables. On the upside, this former motel was completely gutted in 2000, so its rooms and bathrooms are far more spacious than in some of the older, historic hotels. Breakfast

options include the Continental buffet ($5.95) and the comfort-food-laden hot buffet ($11.95).
