Recovery Room

Recovery Room Review

The graffiti-splashed walls and tongue-in-cheek title make the Recovery Room a favorite for hipsters and college kids. In addition to cans of PBR, the watering hole, set underneath the U.S. Highway 17 bridge, serves up brunch, lunch, a late-night menu, and even amateur pole dancing on Monday night. Go for the tater tachos, tater tots covered in shredded cheeses, jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions, or the wings in 12 sauces. The windows may be few and the view muted, but look at it this way: at least nobody will see you scarf down an order of "chicken biscuits"—fried chicken tenders sopping with honey or gravy over a homemade biscuit.
