Seabrook Island
At a Glance
- physically beautiful, relatively unspoiled island

Cons
Seabrook Island Review
The most private of the area's island resorts, Seabrook is endowed with true Lowcountry beauty. Wildlife sightings are common: look for white-tailed deer and even bobcats. Going to the beach is as popular as playing golf or tennis, but erosion has whisked away a lot of the sand. About 200 fully equipped one- to six-bedroom homes are available, but the smallest units are often priced as cheaply as a hotel room. The Beach Club and Island House are centers for dining and leisure activities, and there is a quality equestrian center that is just inside the gates and open to the public. As each villa is individually owned, the Internet capabilities will vary accordingly.
