From the intersection of Water Street and East Battery you can look east toward the city's most-photographed mansions; look west for views of Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter. Walk south along East Battery to White Point Gardens, where the street curves and becomes Murray Boulevard.

A sidewalk area that runs along the water, sea on one side, gorgeous and huge houses (among the city's most impressive) on the other. Great area to stroll and soak in the scenery.
