Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum Review
Ships berthed here include the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, the World War II submarine USS Clamagore, the destroyer USS Laffey, and the Coast Guard cutter Ingham, responsible for sinking a U-boat during World War II. A Vietnam exhibit showcases naval air and watercraft used in the military action.

Galley is operational on the Yorktown and well worth the money for lunch. If you have time, the different self-guided tours of the ship are all worth seeing. Very nicely done; one gets to experience first hand life on a carrier. Docents are wonderful, some having first-hand experience of their descriptions and explanations. Excellent place to discover history!
