Fodor's Review

Chef Ken Vedrinski may have opened his incredible Italian seafood spot Coda del Pesce on Isle of Palms last year, but locals still rave about his first wonder, Trattoria Lucca. Come in for the warm cauliflower sformatino (with farm-fresh eggs, pancetta, and parmigiano cheese), stay for the pasta dishes made with locally milled organic semolina. On Sunday evening, family-style suppers with communal seating are a treat. New additions to the dining room have made it more quiet and intimate.
