Fodor's Review

For crepes and cold-pressed coffee, most folks turn to a venerable Charleston institution: Queen Street Grocery. Built in 1922, the corner building has served many purposes throughout the years: butcher shop, candy shop, and late-night convenience store. The restaurant's owners call to mind the place's roots as a neighborhood grocery store by sourcing much of the produce and other goods from local growers. Don't pass up the sweet and savory crepes, named for the islands

surrounding Charleston. The place still operates as a charming bodega, perfect for picking up a bottle of wine on the way to a picnic in White Point Gardens.
