Savvy foodies were the first to embrace Chef Nico Romo's inventive French-Asian cuisine, and the rest of the city. (No wonder Romo is the youngest person to earn the title of Master Chef of France.) Start with the dim sum appetizer; it's more beautiful than a flower arrangement. Or try the sweet-chili calamari that gives the menu a kick. The bouillabaisse with coconut-lemongrass broth and ginger croutons is one-of-a-kind. Although it's easy to overlook this cozy spot, it's well worth adding to your itinerary because the service is always friendly and the meals are imaginative.
