Fodor's Review

Tucked away on a historic street a half mile from the Blackstone River, this inn occupying an 1875 Victorian offers peace, quiet, and a splendid breakfast. The common room has a fireplace with a maple hearth. A kitchenette is stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks. Three second-floor guest rooms are furnished in Victorian style, with antiques, high beds, and fringed lamp shades; the third-floor suite has rustic country decor. With dishes like apple pancakes made with local apples, eggs, milk, and locally ground flour, breakfast is among the high points of a stay here.
