Fodor's Review

This unspoiled narrow barrier beach is the place for tranquillity. Spanning 3 miles of shoreline that fronts and separates Ninigret Pond from the ocean, it's quite a contrast to Narragansett's bustling Scarborough Beach. Parking is limited and fills up quickly. Be careful when swimming, as the ocean side is known for riptides. Amenities: lifeguards; parking (fee); toilets. Best for: swimming; walking.
