Matunuck Oyster Bar

Matunuck Oyster Bar Review

Shuckers are hard at work at the raw bar in this awesome, waterside restaurant Perry Raso opened in 2009 as an offshoot of his Matunuck Oyster Farm, located just 200 yards away in Potter Pond. This year-round business committed to mixing fresh local produce with farm-raised and wild-caught seafood draws a crowd. Thankfully a valet ensures you're able to park your vehicle. Sunset is the best time to visit and take in the view with a glass of wine while enjoying Point Judith calamari with cherry peppers and arugula, whole belly fried clams and different varieties of crisp, briny Rhode Island oysters, cherrystones, and littleneck clams. Be prepared to wait and snag a table outside if you can.
