George's of Galilee

George's of Galilee Review

Owned by the same family since 1948, this local landmark near Salty Brine State Beach serves traditional Rhode Island favorites, including clambakes and "stuffies" (stuffed quahogs). Get your fried and broiled seafood here at reasonable prices; George's buys its ingredients directly from the boats in Galilee. The real draw is the large second-floor bar, an open-air space where you can enjoy a fruity rum punch in a fish bowl you can take home as a souvenir. There's a sleek black-granite bar, an outdoor patio, and a fire pit.
