The historic farm, whose mid-18th-century homestead overlooks Narragansett Bay off Route 1A south of Wickford, still functions much as it has since its earliest days. During the 19th century the summer residence of the Casey family, who leased the land to tenant farmers, it is today a community-supported farm operated by resident managers who raise organically grown vegetables. Nearly 30 mi of stone walls surround the 300-acre farmstead.
