Tazza

Tazza Review

Skip the bland buffet at your hotel and head to this great, light-filled "caffe" where the real coffee drinkers congregate. They come for Tazza's robust coffee brewed mad scientist style with siphon pots that boil water heated by halogen lamps. The result is a cup of joe without bitterness or acidity. You can also opt to get your brew hand poured over coffee grounds directly into your cup for the freshest possible coffee experience. The unique brunch menu combines lunch fare like grilled pizza and a trio of black Angus bacon burgers with a variety of sweet and savory breakfast options like beignets and shrimp and cheddar grits. Plan to return for weeknight raw bar specials, great cocktails, and the adventurous dinner menu ($$$) featuring fricassee of rabbit and caramelized pineapple wrapped salmon. Tazza sponsors free outdoor movie nights in the lot next door on Thursdays June through October.
