The large open dining room of this converted warehouse and the views of the Providence River are wonderful, but it's the food that has made this a hot spot. The menu showcases a blend of French and Asian cuisine, such as crisp Cambodian spring rolls with bean sprouts and grilled shrimp, and yellowfin tuna steak with a soy and ginger glaze over a soba noodle gallette. Don't pass up the chocolate-stuffed fried wontons with homemade ginger ice cream for dessert. On Friday nights, the restaurant hosts live jazz in the lounge.

mediocre portions & taste for the amount charged

i have no problem spending a lot of money on good food. in fact, it's somewhat of a hobby. neath's came highly recommended by two friends, so i was excited to try it out but ultimately was disappointed in the portions, which actually left me not full! The taste was okay, but certainly not worth the cost per plate, which didn't include a salad or soup. my husband & i ate the scallop special, and i can't remember what my mom-in-law had, but i do know we were all thouroughly let down at having to pay a $130 bill (one drink each included) for a mediocre meal at best. this place wouldn't survive a year in NYC, Seattle, or San Fran.

I went with a friend on a Thursday at 6:30 and the place was dead. By the time we left, only a few tables were occupied. Excellent food, good portion size, but I thought high $20's was a little high. I was expecting low to mid $20's for a Providence restaurant. I would return for a drink before another meal to see if it gets more crowded later or over a weekend.
