Some say the Japanese cuisine served here is the best in the state. Choose regular or traditional Japanese seating -- or take a stool at the sushi bar, where local fish such as tuna, mackerel, and eel are prepared alongside red snapper and fish from points beyond. The designer rolls include beef, squid, duck, and seaweed.

Don't go if you're in a hurry

They have the slowest service I have ever experienced. A group (approx 12) of us went for lunch one day. It took them three hours to get our sushi out to us. There were other parties that arrived after us, ordered, were served and left before we were served.
On the other hand, if you've got a *lot* of time to kill, they've got really good sushi.

"Providence rolls" are not only delicious but also more than a mouthful... unless you have a really big mouth!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant anywhere. The comfortable atmosphere and friendly waitstaff compliment the excellent, fresh sushi. The Sushi Lunch Deluxe is an enormous amount of sushi (your choice of any 8 nigiri or sashimi, 5 or 6 huge rolls of your choice, miso soup, and salad) for an unbeatable price. If you are like me and do not like much wasabi, be sure to tell the sushi preparer so he does not put too much wasabi on your pieces of nigiri!
