Providence Oyster Bar

Fodor's Review:

In a neighborhood long known as the place for Italian food, this spirited seafood restaurant is a refreshing alternative. In a dining room handsomely turned out with polished wood floors, brick walls, and a tin ceiling, the raw bar serves more than a dozen varieties of fresh oysters. Favorite appetizers include ahi tuna tartare and coconut shrimp. For entrées, try grilled swordfish steak bouillabaisse or seared Georges Banks scallops.
