C. C. Ledbetter's

Fodor's Review:

Innkeeper C. C. Ledbetter's mansard-roof 1770 home is in a great location on College Hill, the city's historic East Side. With its lively art, quilts, contemporary and antique furnishings, loads of books and magazines, plus a dog, you feel more like you're staying in someone's home than an inn. With reasonably priced rooms and a location across from the John Brown House Museum, this inn is a favorite of the parents of Brown University students. Pros: affordable rates, a short walk from Brown and RISD, knowledgeable hosts. Cons: least expensive rooms share bath.

  • Hotel Details: 5 rooms, 2 with bath
  • In-room: no phone.
  • Rate includes: Continental breakfast
  • Credit Cards: MC, V
