Tile mosaics and paintings by the former head of the Rhode Island School of Design illustration department enhance this lively eatery. Specialties from the wood-burning stove include short ribs and a mustard-and-horseradish-crusted rack of lamb accompanied by goat-cheese mashed potatoes.

A true delicacy for all of the senses
Posted by Damon from Providence on 10/1/06
I continue to frequent this restaurant while still not visiting others throughout Prov. The atmosphere here is somehow elitist without the snobbery. You are felt priveleged yet cozy wherever your sat. Out of every morsel I've eaten there it only gets better each time. Their seasonal menus instantly makes you realize the time of year and the new items making themselves available. I feel transported back in time to when attention was paid to making due with the items at hand and reaping the benefits of their colloboration. All in all my favorite restaurant in the city.
