Boating in Providence

Prime boating areas include the Providence River, the Seekonk River, and Narragansett Bay. The Narragansett Boat Club (River Rd., East Side. 401/272-1838. www.rownbc.org) has advice on the best places for boating and also offers rowing and sculling classes.
