Kingscote
Kingscote Review
This Gothic Revival mansion, completed in 1841, was one of Newport's first summer cottages. Richard Upjohn designed Kingscote for George Noble Jones, a plantation owner from Savannah, Georgia. Decorated with antique furniture, glass, and Asian art, it contains one of the first installations of Tiffany glass windows in its dining room.
