Puerini's

Puerini's Review

This casual family-run eatery midway between Bellevue Avenue and Thames Street has been turning out soul-warming Italian classics since the 1980s. There are five cheery dining rooms and a popular outdoor patio and bar. The menu includes classics like lasagna and manicotti as well as veal prepared numerous ways. There's always a house-made polenta starter on the menu. Follow this with fresh eggplant baked with mozzarella and homemade tomato sauce or veal sautéed with rosemary, shallots, mushrooms, and a light cream sauce.
