Fodor's Review:

Among the several breezy dining options set in waterfront wharves along Newport Harbor, West Deck excels for its creatively prepared, artful regional American food. The space comprises a bustling bar, an open-deck dining area, and a simple yet sophisticated indoor space with tall windows taking in the water. Memorable openers include baked oysters au gratin with a leeks-fennel sauce, and tuna tartar with black-truffle vinaigrette. Mussels Catalan with white wine, green olives, and artichokes draws raves among the entrées.
