Part of the culinary renaissance that's overtaken the formerly workaday lower Broadway section of town, this colorful little storefront café with orange walls, funky wall sconces, and memorable chow pulls in a mix of local see-and-be-seen types and adventuresome tourists. The menu mixes small plates, dishes for sharing, and judiciously portioned entrées. Highlights include Roquefort cheesecake with port syrup, Thai shrimp tacos with crispy wontons, and fennel-dusted pork chops with apple compote and chicken-liver-sausage stuffing.
