Newport Marriott Review

A light-filled atrium lobby with marble floors and a nautical theme unfolds as you enter this luxury hotel on the harbor at Long Wharf. Rooms overlook the atrium, city, or waterfront. Fifth-floor rooms facing the harbor have sliding French windows that open onto large decks. A major overhaul in 2007 added granite-and-wood detailing to the bathrooms and plasma-screen TVs and iPod docks to the rooms. Rates vary greatly according to season and location; concierge and harbor-view rooms cost more.
