22 Bowen's Wine Bar & Grille

Fodor's Review:

Newport's most respected prime beef steak house also serves seafood, along with a 600-plus-label wine list. You can't go wrong with the bacon-wrapped scallops as a starter. Steak lovers swear by the 24-ounce porterhouse. Distressed brick floors on the first floor, stained red oak wood on the second floor, white linens, leather chairs, and a mahogany bar lend a sumptuous air to the eatery. There's a festive Sunday brunch.
