An easygoing neighborhood hangout in Newport's laid-back neighbor across the water, this is actually a full restaurant with a substantial—and quite traditional—seafood menu. Freshly shucked oysters are kept on ice behind the bar, where tenders pour fine microbrews and wines. Among main dishes, consider the scampi with shrimp and littleneck clams, and also check out the chalkboard of more creative nightly specials. The burgers are locally renowned.
