Sakonnet Point
Sakonnet Point Review
Sakonnet Point, a surreal spit of land that begins where Route 77 ends, reaches out toward three tiny islands. The 0.5-mi hike to the tip of the spit passes tide pools, a beach composed of tiny stones, and outcroppings that recall the surface of the moon. Parking is sometimes available in the lot adjacent to Sakonnet Harbor.
