Fodor's Review:

Handy if you're staying in Newport but want to hop over to Jamestown to explore or enjoy a meal, the Jamestown and Newport Ferry stops in Newport at Bowen's Landing, Fort Adams, and Goat Island (and will stop at Rose Island upon request). The 35-foot passenger ferry departs on its half-hour voyage from Ferry Wharf about every 1½ hours, from 9:50 AM to 8 PM (until 9 PM on weekends). The last run leaves from Newport at 8:30 PM (9:45 on weekends).

  • Cost: $15 all-day pass
  • Open: Memorial Day-Labor Day
