Part of Thames Street Landing, this waterfront hotel was constructed with timber and architectural detailing from an 1818 rum distillery and warehouse that once stood on the site. You can still see the remnants of a giant rum keg in the building adjacent to the lobby. The sunny rooms contain Colonial reproduction furniture, writing desks, armoires, and flat-screen TVs. Some overlook Narragansett Bay. Eight rooms have gas fireplaces. The DeWolf Tavern is one of the best
in the state, and the hotel is steps from several shops and other restaurants. Thames Landing has a marina and bike-rental shop.
