Fairville Inn Review
This B&B, halfway between Longwood Gardens and Winterthur, has bright, airy rooms furnished with Queen Anne and Hepplewhite reproductions and dramatic white-draped canopy beds. The main house, built in 1857, has a striking living room with a fireplace. Rooms in the carriage house and springhouse have decks; those in the latter have a sweeping view down to the pond. The Fairville serves a complimentary breakfast, which includes a choice of three entrées, such as an egg dish, homemade pancakes, or Belgian waffles, and an afternoon tea with home-baked cookies, fruit, and cheese.
