Owner Elizabeth Seiber studied in Japan as a teenager and came back with a taste for "zakka" shops—small stores carrying compelling, everyday things. She resolved to create one with Omoi, a cozy space on a residential block that carries cute, kitschy, and charming tchotchkes, jewelry, housewares, and stationery from Japan, France, and other places far and near.
