A longtime cozy local tavern, Campbell's now has a legitimate gastro-pub kitchen to go with the downstairs bar's charm. The difference is in the details—from the purple potatoes next to the rosemary pork chop to the Hoegaarten broth for the mussels. There is hefty fare like the large Black Angus burger and meatloaf, but it's nice to dine tapas style on appetiziers like the excellent Asian wings, beet and goat cheese salad, and calamari. The specials tend to be more adventurous and quite good. Upstairs is almost shockingly characterless, with beige wall-to-wall carpeting. They also have a Sunday brunch.
