This attractive, midsize hotel is the place to rest if you want to station yourself in Northwest Philadelphia; it's not fancy inside, but it's well run and offers a perfectly pleasant stay. The rooms, split between the main building and two offshoot structures (the Post Office and the Carriage House), are quirky and quiet, almost as if you're staying in the comfortable spare bedroom of a friend.
