The second venture from local girl made good, Audrey Claire Taichman, was a hit from the moment it opened in 2000. Large French windows open up onto the sidewalk where tables are always packed in the warmer months with chic, young couples and klatches sipping pomegranate martinis and supping on Pan-Asian small plates like black tea house-smoked tuna and grilled prawns with roasted yams. Inside, the space is half-bar/lounge, half-restaurant, and all glass, leather, and luxe minimalism. Reservations are recommended.
