Is it a bar or a restaurant? It seems most like a bar until the food comes and you taste chef Peter Dunmire's food, which is quite a few steps above pub fare, with steamed mussels in white wine and crispy Atlantic salmon in Thai coconut curry sauce. Weekend brunch here—challah French toast, arugula and beet salad, smoked salmon club sandwich—is one of the best in the neighborhood.
