Fodor's Review:

This intensely romantic room is the quintessential date-night spot. Among the stylish decorative touches are extravagant flower arrangements, trompe l'oeil paintings, and black-and-white floor tiles. The food is more Continental than pure French, but the interpretations by chef Peter Lamlein are inspired. Although the menu changes periodically, there's always the lump crab cake served over lobster bisque and the Australian lamb rack, two genuine winners. Reservations are recommended.

Superb restaurant for fellow food aficionados

Posted by Carl from East TN on 4/10/06

I ate at this small French style restaurant in early April 2006. The food was simply wonderful. Bring your own wine since it is a "BYO." Absolutely terrific flavors, service, and setting. I can't wait to go back. I give it my highest recommendation. Definitely get dessert too. There's a reason that it is a Fodor's recommended restaurant.
