Fodor's Review:

The headquarters of the society has a historical and genealogical library and a museum showcasing noteworthy furniture, textile, and costume collections, from Colonial highboys and Peale paintings to Quaker samplers and mourning clothes. It's also an orientation point for anyone visiting the Germantown houses.
