Literally the high point of your park tour, Belmont Plateau has a view from 243 feet above river level. In front of you is the park, the Schuylkill River winding down to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and, 4 mi away, the Philadelphia skyline.

Really nothing to miss here, nor write home about.
Limited parking areas, once they fill up your on your way to drive around to find parking.
The restrooms are filthy and do not work, there were bags of garbage in two of the 4 Mens room toilets. No sink to wash your hands, the Mens room was beyond disgusting!
The area around the Concession Stand / Restrooms was filthy, broken glass and trash everywhere.
If you visit here, assure yourself you do not have to use the Restroom. Another landmark that adds to the new name for Philadelphia... "Filthadelphia"
If Mayor Nutter wants people to visit Philadelphia, he better start spending the money to seriously clean it up.
