Fodor's Review

On Logan Square, this hotel puts you within walking distance of Boathouse Row. Suites have separate living rooms with sofa beds, dining areas, and private balconies, many with stunning views of nearby Fairmount Park. Business suites have spacious desks with ergonomic chairs. A hot breakfast is served every morning at an adjacent T.G.I. Friday's, but it can be chaotic; there is a more relaxing evening reception—with complimentary full bar and light snacks daily from 5:30

to 7:30.

good deal

The staff were very helpful and hospitable. The bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in - the mattress, sheets and comforter were like sleeping on a cloud! The complimentary breakfast was better than in most hotels, and the evening reception was a nice touch before dinner. However, on my next visit, I will request a room other than on 3rd floor. The view was not great and the room is handicapped accessible - which we fortunately, did

not need.

Great location, price and free drinks!!!

We stayed here in for three nights in May 2004 and were extremely happy with the hotel. The suites are large, newly refurbished, and include a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. A full buffet breakfast and evening cocktail reception (free drinks!!) are included with your stay. It is really a great value for the price. The hotel is extremely convenient to many museums and the fabulous Four Seasons restaurants are next door. The staff was

professional, prompt and courteous throughout our stay. I would highly recommend the hotel. Although it seems to attract business and international travelers, it was a great hotel for our family of small children, not only because of the minikitchen in the suite and breakfast buffet, but because the Franklin Institute, Academy of Sciences, and Please Touch are a 5-minute walk away!

The round hotel on the parkway

Stayed here for 10 days in Jan 04. Hotel in need on renovation. Rough around the edges. Rooms are big with kitchenette and the hotel is a bit unique with a art deco feel esp the lobby. Breakfast included but at TGIF which is located in the bottom of hotel. Very weak gym. Go for the Four seasons across the street if u can.
