Civil War and Underground Railroad Museum of Philadelphia

Fodor's Review:

The museum is one of the country's top collections of Civil War memorabilia pertaining to the Union. Artifacts include two life masks of Abraham Lincoln; dress uniforms and swords that belonged to Generals Grant and Meade; plus many other weapons, uniforms, and personal effects of Civil War officers and enlisted men. The library holds more than 12,000 volumes about the war.
