Rittenhouse Row

Fodor's Review:

Shop-'til-you-droppers make a beeline for Rittenhouse Row, the area between Broad and 21st streets, and Spruce and Market streets. Stroll down Walnut Street between Rittenhouse Square and Broad Street for the greatest concentration of swanky stores and tony boutiques, art galleries, and jewelers. On 18th Street in the block north of Rittenhouse Square, you can find a sidewalk vendor selling handmade Peruvian shawls, street artist Joe Barker painting watercolors of Philadelphia cityscapes, and a shop—Scoop de Ville—that sells homemade chocolate and custom-blended frozen yogurt.
