Not the biggest bookstore in town, but this is definitely the sentimental favorite of devotees of literature, poetry, and minority studies. Third-generation bookseller Larry Robin has been working in Center City for nearly 60 years. The city's oldest independent bookstore was started by his grandfather in 1936. Book fans are drawn to the frequent readings and book signings by local authors, poets, and freethinkers.
