For browsing, visit the historic and hip neighborhood of Manayunk. This former mill town along the Schuylkill River is crammed with art galleries and clothing boutiques, and with one-of-a-kind stores selling everything from clocks and crystals to board games and Balinese artifacts. Alfresco dining, lively bars, and stay-open-late shops make this a great evening destination.
