Gallery at Market East Review
A block north of Chestnut Street is Philadelphia's landmark effort at urban-renewal-cum-shopping, the Gallery at Market East, America's first enclosed downtown shopping mall. The four-level glass-roof structure near the Pennsylvania Convention Center contains 130 low- to mid-price retailers and two international food courts.
